This process is done over voice, with a candidate to check they meet the requirements for joining, and to start the process of their integration into the group. It takes usually 15-20 minutes to complete.

• When candidates are waiting for induction see if you can group them together to speed up induction
• Screen share what you are doing to speed up the induction
• Check the application information in the personnel office things to look for
• Date of birth correctly filled in and it should be 2003 and lower. (2004 is debatable when the year progress)
• Look at the motivation for joining. No 3 word sentences.
• Make sure the application has Steam ID/ Discord ID correctly filled in (you can check with SteamID Finder)
• Ensure applicant has seen, followed or have access to the set up videos and guides: Application Complete Portal
• Tell them that during this induction you will see look at them participating and make the judgment if they can fit in the unit.
• Ask for any initial questions

1. Explain we are a session based group, Discord for Comms and the website does everything else
   1. Minimum activity requirement is 1x per month, although the average is around 6 for the active force of 80
   2. We're a diverse group with members from 29 countries
   3. You are never expected to turn up, unless you sign up

7. Run through the general unit rules under Structure. Talk about code of conduct and make sure that they know where to find this.

Next-steps

1. After the induction and they still wanna join they will become a candidate
2. They should attend a basic core infantry FTX as soon as one is available. And after successful completion and the instructor is sure they know there stuff they will become Recruit.
3. When they complete Core infantry training T II if they have no reprimands will be eligible for promotion to Private
4. They can slot to any mission slots that the website allows them to in the mean time
5. Ensure they have Client Set-up information

Processing

Via the RRO Office view, open the candidate and update the following;

1. Unit to UTF/AMFOR-1PLT press update
2. Reports to Sgt Deksterus, press update
3. Role to Candidate press update
4. Status to Regular, press update
5. Rank to Candidate (ENSURE THIS IS THE LAST THING YOU DO, AS YOU WILL LOSE ACCESS TO THE DOSSIER ONCE DONE), press update

Notes

• If their discord name or roles do not update automatically then you've not filled in their discord ID correctly, turn on Discord Developer Mode and right click a user to get the option 'Copy ID'
• Ensure their full 64 steam ID is present in the Arma UID or the ORBAT Data function will not work.
